Kathleen McCue, DNP, FNP-BC, IBCLC is a nurse practitioner and lactation consultant with more than 30 years of experience helping parents with breastfeeding, infant care, nutrition, and other health issues. Kathleen has written three books: Start Here: Breastfeeding and Infant Care with Humor and Common Sense (Hale Publishing, 2011), Mother to Mother (Hale, 2012), and Father to Father (Hale, 2013). In addition to her IBCLC credential, Kathleen has earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. The mother of two grown children, she currently lives in Bethesda, MD and works as both a nurse practitioner at a pediatric practice and as a lactation consultant in privater practice.
