Sawsan Dalaq is the Director of the Children’s Museum Jordan, a leading Museum in both Jordan and the Arab region. The Children’s Museum was established in 2007 through the vision and support of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah and aims to support the national learning and educational agenda. Sawsan was elected President of the NAMES (North Africa and the Middle East Science Centers Network) in late 2014. In this capacity, she is currently working on raising the profile and activities of the Network regionally and internationally. The term will end in November 2016. Sawsan’s experience includes: Director of e-Initiatives at Jordan’s Ministry of ICT, Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations at the Office of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah and setting-up and running the EU Information and Communication Center in Jordan. She is a graduate in International Relations and Development Studies from the University of Sussex in the UK.
