Lara Bazelon is a writer and attorney living in San Francisco. She is the former director of an innocence project based in Los Angeles, and before that, worked for seven years as a deputy federal public defender. She and her ex-husband share custody of their two children. Lara writes about a wide range of issues, including crime, justice, ethics, relationships, and divorce.
