Kim Olson

Through her trailblazing 25-year military service as an aviation leader, commander and patriot Kimberly Olson, Colonel (retired) United States Air Force has reshaped the perception of women serving their country. As one of the first women to command an operational flying squadron, Kim rose to the rank of Colonel, served in the Pentagon on the Joint Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense, and the Air Staff and deployed to several combat zones, including Iraq. After her military retirement in 2005, she served as Director of Human Resources for Dallas Independent School District and was elected to the Weatherford Independent School District Board of Trustees in 2007. Kim recently retired as CEO of Grace After Fire, a Texas-based nonprofit dedicated to helping women veterans find employment, access mental and physical health providers, and conduct peer to peer network training. Today, Kim runs a Community Supported Agriculture from her 4K River Ranch in Mineral Wells, Texas.
