Stacey Langenbahn
Stacey Langenbahn, J.D. is the President of Détente Mediation Services in Colleyville TX. She is a Distinguished Credentialed Mediator in Texas and a Founding Member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators. Her peers have named her as one of the Best Lawyers in America every year since 2012. Stacey is co-authoring the family mediation chapter of the State Bar of Texas’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Handbook. She has practiced law for 24 years as a mediator, family lawyer, collaborative practitioner, and civil trial lawyer. As a Founding Director of the Texas Collaborative Law Council, she was a pioneer in civil collaborative law in Texas. She helped develop the Civil Collaborative Law section of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. She is a founding member of the Collaborative Law Sections of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, and the Dallas Bar Association. She is an international trainer on collaborative law and on team mediation.
