Shivaun Palmer is the Co-Founder and CEO of Plaid for Women, Inc., an award-winning, digital media company, focused on helping women get connected and be heard. Plaid’s online anti-bullying messaging titled NoMeanGirls has resulted in programming being developed that will be brought into schools and the workplace nationwide. In 2013, Plaid for Women, Inc. was recognized as a corporate diversity champion by the Texas Diversity Council along with the Neeley School of Business at TCU and Burlington Northern Santa Fe. Palmer was honored as a “Great Woman of Texas—Woman of Influence” by the Fort Worth Business Press and nominated as a Woman to Watch by the Dallas Business Journal. She currently sits on the board of directors for Girls, Inc. of Greater Tarrant County.
