Shivaun Palmer
Shivaun Palmer is the Co-Founder and CEO of Plaid for Women, Inc., an award-winning, digital media company, focused on helping women get connected and be heard. Plaid’s online anti-bullying messaging titled NoMeanGirls has resulted in programming being developed that will be brought into schools and the workplace nationwide. In 2013, Plaid for Women, Inc. was recognized as a corporate diversity champion by the Texas Diversity Council along with the Neeley School of Business at TCU and Burlington Northern Santa Fe. Palmer was honored as a “Great Woman of Texas—Woman of Influence” by the Fort Worth Business Press and nominated as a Woman to Watch by the Dallas Business Journal. She currently sits on the board of directors for Girls, Inc. of Greater Tarrant County. Other volunteer work includes Big Brothers, Big Sisters; National Alliance on Mental Illness; Court Appointed Special Advocates and the Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation.
