Jeanette Lazarofsky

Jeanette Lazarofsky is a health and human services professional with 30 years’ experience as a consultant, administrator, board director, and volunteer focused on advocacy and support of independent living for older adults. She has a Master of Science degree in Gerontology from Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland, is a Certified Geriatric Care Manager and a Certified Laughter Leader.
Jeanette is a member of the Association of Applied Therapeutic Humor, a Certified Laughter Leader through the World Laughter Tour, and Certified in Laughter Yoga. She has been a keynote speaker and program presenter at annual conferences, seminars, and business workshops.
The Joys & Gifts of Laughter is a program designed to provide educational information on the health benefits of laughter. Research shows that laughter reduces stress, strengthens the immune system, lowers blood pressure, relaxes muscles, reduces pain, and improves breathing, blood flow, digestion, and sleep.
