Jim Golgert

Jim Golgart is a 20-year Army retiree and is currently serving as the Le Sueur County Veterans Service Officer a position. He started his Army Career in Law Enforcement and Military Police Investigator. Also spent in the US Army Recruiting Command. His awards and decorations include: Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Army Chief of Staff Award for Excellence in 1995 and 1996, and Mentor of the Year for Minneapolis Recruiting Battalion 1997. He is the President of the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers, a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, Association of the United States Army, Retired Enlisted Association, and the Past President of the Minnesota Association of County Veterans Service Officers Association and a member of the Nicollet County Fair Board.
