Michael Paymar

Michael Paymar is the executive director of Education for Critical Thinking. An international trainer on Gender Violence, Michael Paymar is the co-producer of the award-winning documentary With Impunity: Men and Gender Violence and author of the book, Violent No More: Helping Men End Domestic Abuse, now in its third edition. Michael is the co-author of Creating a Process of Change for Men Who Batter with Ellen Pence; the most widely used curriculum and treatment model for domestic abuse offenders in the country. Michael served on the Duluth City Council for eight years and the Minnesota House of Representatives for 18 years. He was a leader in combating sex-trafficking, funding crime victim programs, prison reform, human rights and gun violence prevention.
