Rachel Wilson graduated from the University at Buffalo with a dual Master’s degree in Social Work & Public Health. Her undergraduate work was in Global Gender Studies & Sociology. Rachel’s work experience includes working at Crisis Services as a Domestic Violence Case Manager and a Hotline Counselor for the NYS Domestic & Sexual Violence Hotline. She also worked for 5 years as an Assistant Field Coordinator for the Western New York Area Labor Federation. As part of her graduate work, she work at the University at Buffalo Institute on Trauma & Trauma Informed Care assisting with coordinating community wide training and education, strategic planning and helped develop an Adverse Childhood Experience study for Erie County. She currently serves as Secretary for the Coalition for Economic Justice Board of Directors and was awarded the University at Buffalo Graduate Student Employee of the Year and is a member of the Phi Alpha Social Work Honors Society, Rho Kappa Chapter.
