Melanie Tarr
Melanie Tarr, BS, IBCLC is a private practice lactation consultant and La
Leche League leader who understands the importance of mother-to-mother
breastfeeding support. Melanie graduated from Salisbury State College
University with a Bachelor's degree in elementary education and worked in
early childhood education and family literacy before turning her attention
to breastfeeding support. A La Leche League leader for 7 years, she earned
her IBCLC credential in 2015. Melanie lives with her husband and three
children on a small farm in Unicorn, Maryland.
