Jackie Novatt
Jackie Novatt speaks from personal experience about anorexia nervosa, which she has been working to recover from for 18 years. She also has personal experience with parenting, as the mother of almost-5-year-old twins living on Long Island. Jackie is an active member of the Nassau County Mothers of Twins Club, and she leads Tot Shabbat and plays cello at her local synagogue. Professionally, she works as a scientist, conducting cancer research at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, and teaching at local colleges.
