Dena Patton

After experiencing a minor stroke at age 27 Dena Patton sold her PR and marketing company in NYC to spend a year in a start-up tech company as she prepared to follow her spiritual calling to make a difference for women and girls. Her path led her to become an award-winning speaker, author and coach for women for the last 14 years. Her passion is helping women and girls know their worth, know themselves and know their valuable place in the world as leaders and world changers. She has a passion to change the conversation through connection and community which is evident in the programs and books she has created for girls and women, including Chat, Chew and Chocolate, Sisters, Retreats and Summer Spaaah Series, and in 2007 with three friends she cofounded The Girls Rule Foundation.
Girls Rule is a nonprofit 501c3 that provides free and low cost leadership and empowerment programs for schools, organizations, groups and individual girls ages 12-18.
