Dr. Alpha Alexander is Fitness Director at Walter State Community College and Chair of the Morristown Tenn. Diversity Committee. Alexander earned degrees at College at Wooster(Ohio) and doctorate at Temple University. She is Co-Founder and Vice President of the Black Women’s Sport Foundation. Dr. Alexander lead USA delegations to Barcelona, Atlanta and Nagano for the Olympic Youth Camps. She lead several Citizen Ambassador delegations to China, South Africa, Russia and Cuba. She has received the Billie Jean King Contribution Award (WSF), Olympic Shield (USOC) and NCAA Silver Award. Additionally, the NCAA named her in 2006 as one of the ‘100 Most Influential Student-Athletes of the Century.
