Valerie Humphreys
Valerie is a retired guesthouse owner from England. She created a home-based business to support her family and ran a guest house for 46 years until she sold it. Since then she's been enjoying her ‘retirement’ as a hands-on grandmother, volunteer and traveller. Her latest project has been sponsoring young Denis, namesake of her deceased husband, through medical school in Uganda. She met him when he was the local porter escorting her on the gorilla visit up the mountain.
