Rich Benner is the Global Customer Care Strategist IT Director at Monsanto, responsible for global customer strategy around digital commerce, including order-to-cash (B2B, B2C, B2B2C), logistics, warehousing, and customer service for Monsanto’s $16B business. His focus is on human-centered design with a customer centric approach. In his previous role as the North America Supply Chain IT Director, he was responsible for strategic definition, planning, and launch of new capabilities related to supply chain in the $7B+ North American region. His areas of focus included Manufacturing, Planning and Customer Care which consists of digital commerce, order-to-cash, logistics warehousing, customer service, and AR/credit functions. Rich led a transformation of the service-oriented brand from a dealer model to an agency business model, requiring a complete business process redesign, including full digital commerce capabilities resulting in brand market share increase.
