Karen Gordon
Karen Gordon is the owner of J. Gordon Designs, an internationally recognized salon in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. A salon professional for 38 years, she works behind the chair as both a Hair Color Specialist and a Hair Loss Specialist. Karen has trained with many of the world’s top colorists in New York, London and Rome. Karen also has a Master of Arts Degree in Applied Business from De Paul University. She is in the process of receiving certification as a Trichologist with both the International Association of Trichologists (ITA) and World Trichology Association (WTA). Karen writes a blog for Modern Salon that follows her journey into the field of hair loss. For the past six years she has been a guest speaker at America’s Beauty Show and at salon industry expos across the county, offering creative ways to grow a salon and innovative ways to handle common business challenges.
