Kimberly Thompson, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Thompson is the author of “Perfect Mothers Get Depressed: Why Trying to be Perfect and Please Everyone Increases Your Risk of Postpartum Depression” and “The Mommy Mentor” blog. After earning a bachelor’s degree in music and a PhD in clinical psychology, Dr. Thompson completed a postdoctoral residency at Greenville Ob-Gyn Clinic. In addition to her counseling and mentoring practice, she serves as a member of the faculty of Fielding Graduate University’s Infant and Early Childhood Development doctoral program.
