Kim Thompson
Kimberly Thompson, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Thompson is the author of “Perfect Mothers Get Depressed: Why Trying to be Perfect and Please Everyone Increases Your Risk of Postpartum Depression” and “The Mommy Mentor” blog. After earning a bachelor’s degree in music and a PhD in clinical psychology, Dr. Thompson completed a postdoctoral residency at Greenville Ob-Gyn Clinic. In addition to her counseling and mentoring practice, she serves as a member of the faculty of Fielding Graduate University’s Infant and Early Childhood Development doctoral program. Dr. Thompson lives in Texas with her husband of more than 30 years. They are the parents of four children.
