Lisa Rosenberg
Lisa Rosenberg holds degrees in Physics and Creative Writing, and received a Wallace Stegner Fellowship in Poetry from Stanford University. She worked for many years in physics and engineering, founded an independent technology marketing consulting and freelance design practice, and was active in aviation as a private pilot. Lisa’s writing has appeared in both literary and technical venues, from poetry anthologies and periodicals, to trade and scientific journals. Lisa was recently appointed as San Mateo County’s second Poet Laureate, for a two-year term starting in January. Lisa has a keen interest in human development, learning, and wellness. In the years leading up to parenthood, she undertook the intensive practitioner training in the Feldenkrais Method®of Somatic Education, became a student of Aikido, and began her wellness journey into functional medicine.
