Dr. Gama Perruci


Dr. Gama Perruci is the Dean of the McDonough Leadership Center and the McCoy Professor of Leadership Studies at Marietta College in Ohio. He also serves as a session facilitator for the leadership programs at Dartmouth College’s Rockefeller Center for Public Policy. He is the co-author of Understanding Leadership: An Arts and Humanities Perspective (Routledge, 2015).
Aside from his teaching, research and administrative duties, Dr. Perruci also serves as a consultant for The New York Times, focusing on the newspaper’s educational programming for leadership students. In that role, he writes a weekly column (“Connecting Theory to Practice”) for the newspaper’s InEducation website (nytimesineducation.com).. Other recent consulting assignments include a review of the Department of Leadership, Ethics and Law (LEL) at the United States Naval Academy (Annapolis, Maryland) and an evaluation of the leadership program at Zayed University in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
