Dr. Jane Scott

Born in Mombasa, Kenya, Dr. Jane Scott attended the University of Western Australia Medical School in Perth at the age of sixteen. Years later after moving to the United States, she attended the University Of Colorado Medical School and completed her residency in pediatrics and fellowship in neonatology at Duke University while simultaneously raising four young children.
She is the inventor of the Tortle, an FDA- cleared infant repositioning device designed to prevent and eliminate flat head syndrome, and is the founder of Tortle Products, LLC, which sells and distributes the Tortle as well as other products to help hospitalized infants with optimal head positioning. The Tortle has been adopted by pediatrics departments and NICUs in more than thirty hospitals around the world, and Dr. Jane’s medical device products are being researched by university and hospital NICUs and outpatient clinics, including Duke University and Newman University in Pennsylvania. This is her first book.
