Rev. Jack Abel, MDiv, MBA, Senior Director of Spiritual Care, joined Caron Treatment Centers in Wernersville, Pennsylvania in 2008. A student of both theology and business, his background includes clinical spiritual care supervision and organizational administration. An interfaith minister with past service as a United Methodist pastor and endorsed chaplain, he provides leadership in the integration of spiritual care with other disciplines across the continuum of treatment. The founder and current president of Spiritual Care Addiction Treatment Professionals (SCATP), Rev. Jack speaks nationally and internationally on behalf of Caron on spirituality in addictions treatment. He also serves as clinical liaison for technology innovation at Caron. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Wesley Theological Seminary, holds an MBA from Wilmington University, and has pursued additional theological studies at The Catholic University in Washington, DC, and at the New Seminary in New York.
