Mandalynn Carlson is an award-winning American teen actress, whose first professional film appearance was a supporting role in the 2011 action biopic "Machine Gun Preacher" with Gerard Butler. Leaving Michigan for Hollywood, Carlson has found success staring in dozens of independent films and television shows, including "Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal" and "CSI:NY". Mandalynn is outspoken against bullying, having dealt with it during elementary and middle school. She started college at 15 years of age and maintains a 4.0 GPA in the film studies curriculum. A fantastic story-teller, Carlson is creating screenplays she hopes to produce and direct that deal with women and girls self-image and self-worth under her production company Smash The Glass Pictures. While she prefers to be in front of the camera, she maintains that she must always be creative and will pursue directing, to fill in gaps.
