Dr. David Botsford, PsyD, MS, CC-AASP
Dr. David C. Botsford is a clinical and sport psychologist at University of California Santa Barbara. Working in the athletic department as well as the counseling center, he provides clinical and performance psychology services to UCSB student athletes. Dr. Botsford is also a member of Clinical and Sport Consulting Services, a group practice specializing in performance psychology. Dr.Botsford works with numerous athletes and coaches from youth to elite levels, helping to make competitive performance more consistent, efficient, and successful. Dr. Botsford’s approach to understanding and developing effective strategies to manage common psychological challenges in sport has proven essential for the competitive success of many athletes. Dr. Dave is a licensed psychologist and a Certified Consultant with the Association of Applied Sport Psychology.
