Rick Guinn
Rick Guinn has 28 years of trial experience through the Johnson County, Kansas, District Attorney‘s Office, and the Office of the Kansas Attorney General. Rick has been the lead trial attorney in over 100 jury trials. He concluded his prosecution career as the head of the Criminal Division of the Kansas Attorney General’s Office. Rick is a former president of the Johnson County, Kansas Bar Association, and is a Master in the Earl E. O’Connor Inn of Court. Rick was previously named prosecutor of the year by the Kansas City Arson Task Force. In 2016, the Johnson County Bar Foundation selected Rick as the recipient of its Legacy Award. He currently serves as a board member of the Foundation.
For the past seven years, Rick has been a partner with the law firm of Colantuono Bjerg Guinn, LLC. His practice involves employment law, business litigation and criminal defense.
