Mr. Richard Painter


Richard Painter served as an Associate Counsel to the U.S. President from 2005 to 2007. During his tenure, he worked as the chief ethics lawyer for President Bush, White House employees, and senior nominees to Senate-confirmed positions in the Executive Branch. He is the S. Walter Richey Professor of Corporate Law at the University of Minnesota and is currently vice chair of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW).
