Michael Bendok


Michael Bendok is a freshman at Phoenix Country Day School. At Age 12 Michael co- founded Kidz4Causes with three of his classmates. Kidz4Causes is an organization that raises funds for rare childhood diseases. The four boys and their friends have raised over $50,000 by organizing runs, coin drives and dinners, and they raise awareness in Arizona about the importance of funding research for rare childhood diseases. They also partner with other organizations in Arizona to raise money and awareness. The group received an award from Governor Doug Ducey last year.
Michael enjoys speech and debate and has competed both regionally and nationally. Michael is involved with Boy Scouts and is active with other philanthropic and community service organizations in Arizona. In his free time he enjoys playing basketball and watching sports. He enjoys travelling and learning about different cultures. Michael is studying three languages; Arabic, Spanish, and most recently, French.
