Henry Stormer
Henry W. Stormer, IAAI-CFI is a Certified Fire Investigator through the IAAI and through the Office of the Connecticut State Fire Marshal.
He has over 30 years of experience investigating fire and explosions starting in 1986 with the Newtown CT Police Dept. In 1990 he became one of the first municipal police officers in the State of Connecticut to become certified by the DPS as a Fire Marshal, holding the dual role of Sgt and Dep FM with the Town of Newtown until his retirement in 2005. From 1997 through 2002 he served as the commanding officer of the Detective Division.
In November of 2005 Mr. Stormer was appointed Deputy/Assistant Fire Marshal for the Town of Seymour CT and in 2007 he was appointed as the first full time Fire Marshal for the Town of Southbury CT
In November of 2014 Mr. Stormer was hired by the Vertex Companies Inc. as the National Division Manager for Fire Investigations.
