Donna Walls


A Registered Nurse for 45 years, with 43 years in maternity, Donna Walls became a certified childbirth educator in 1984 and a certified lactation consultant in 1987. Donna also developed and opened the first in-hospital alternative birth center in Ohio, still operating today, and she has helped several hospitals in the process of seeking Baby Friendly designation. A master herbalist with a diploma degree in herbal sciences, Donna also became certified as an aromatherapist and was a private-practice herbalist for many years.
A popular speaker on topics of breastfeeding support and environmental health, she continues to teach as faculty for the Healthy Children Project and Sinclair Community College.
