John Walsh
John is Louisville native widely known in the field of chemical dependency and counseling. He’s been a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor for nearly forty years. He oversaw medical detox at the Jefferson Alcohol and Drug Abuse Center in Kentucky and has been in private practice for a number years.
John developed a nationally recognized recovery model that incorporates family counseling into his practice, because as we now know, addiction is a family disease that must include counseling that helps the entire family unit to recover. Mr. Walsh and his family live in Louisville, where he operates John Walsh Counseling & Consulting. His primary focus today is working with men, parent groups, codependency groups, and adult children of alcoholics.
