Ellen Sasson


Ellen Sasson is an Automotive Industry Advisor with SAP. Prior to earning an MBA, Ellen was an advertising copywriter. With gifts and interests in organization change and business transformation, Ellen began her management consulting life at Accenture leading organization change programs related to ERP in the late 1990’s. In 2003, Ellen joined IBM’s automotive industry team and spent 10 years focused on tier one suppliers and OEM’s and their journeys to connected car and IoT, starting with telematics and moving into Driver Assistance. Ellen also led the Automotive Women’s Alliance Foundation from 2003-2006. From 2006 to 2011, Ellen led consulting engagements for SAP Consulting globally. In 2011, Ellen relocated to New York City where she got a very different perspective on mobility. Today, she is proudly back in Detroit; and keenly focused on connected car and all the innovation coming out of automotive and high tech manufacturers.
