Adrienne Coleman, Ed.D.
Dr. Adrienne Coleman, a nationally recognized speaker and researcher, serves as the Director of Equity and Inclusion at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, responsible for assessing potential barriers and developing strategies focused on recruiting and retaining a diverse community and designing training initiatives on cultural competency, implicit bias, stereotype threat and other diversity, equity and inclusion topics. She has trained governmental agencies, law enforcement, educational institutions and social-service organizations. In addition, her research has contributed to the diversity, equity and inclusion space; by informing diversifying the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education to career pipeline.
