Harris 'Hershey' Rosen
Harris "Hershey" Rosen, the author of My Family Record, is also the founder of the national company School House Candy, which has 5 factories located in New England. Rosen graduated from Harvard and served in the U.S. Army as a Financial Control Officer. After running his business for 40 years, he became a mediator and settled over 200 disputes for the state of RI and The Community Mediation Center of RI. When he retired at still a sprite age, he got even more involved in organizing. From establishing his own company, he was always one to have systems in place for everything and he wanted to share what he learned not only in business but from his time in the Army as well. Hershey speaks throughout the region about topics from basic organizing techniques for families, to cataloging of important family information, to if, when and how to downsize, and how to properly make that process go easier.
