Jennarose Whitmore Johnson
A pioneer in the expressive arts, Jennarose Johnson approaches singing as a “therapeutic process” that can reprogram negative beliefs, behavior patterns and emotional wounding. She inspires students to free the voice and creative spirit using a teaching style informed by her personal and professional journeys which include loss of a child in childbirth, becoming suddenly destitute, the unannounced death of her mother, and a wildfire that left her homeless without a job. With great resilience, her latest expansion of work, “Expressive Excursions” and “Vocal Adventures in Vans and Sedans,” are sure to be a hit!
Jennarose's style was greatly influenced by “The Meisner Technique of Acting” where she underwent a full transformation studying “truthful behavior under imaginary circumstances.” Jennarose has sung for film, corporate radio and TV ads, as well as toured nationally and internationally with her original songs.
