Chris Lori
Chris Lori works as an under cover anti sex trafficking operative on behalf of Destiny Rescue, an
organization that operates in Thailand, Cambodia, India, Dominican Republic and the Philippines.
Prior to his work as an operative, Chris spent 14 years on the Canadian National Bobsledding Team
where he competed in 4 Olympic Winter Games, won a World Championship, along with 22 world cup
medals and 9 crystal globes for top 3 finishes in Overall World Cup final standings. Chris was the first
non-European to win the Overall World Cup and was one of Canada’s most popular Olympic athletes in
his era.
Following his career in sport, Chris became a private foreign exchange trader, which lead him to spend 5
years Singapore. It was on a trip to Thailand in 2008, that triggered interest in protection of women
against exploitation, anti sex trafficking and Destiny Rescues efforts.
Chris spends most of his time in anti sex trafficking working the streets in Manila, Philippines
