Christine Glidden

That’s what Christine Glidden committed when she founded her non-profit, Women To Be. The organization fabricates underwear and reusable sanitary pads which Christine then distributes to girls and women around the world. These products can help girls stay in school. They offer health, freedom, and an opportunity for success in life. Christine had a 25 year career in the mental health field when she decided that incremental improvement in her life was not longer acceptable, so shocking only seemed reasonable. First thing she did was climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, then start Women To Be. She shocks herself everyday by thinking of limitless possibility and taking action to accomplish those visions whether the rely on her proven skills or uncertain weaknesses. She does it anyway. This includes most recently, hosting a Zambian King of 6M tribal members and his delegation for two weeks to meet the Native Americans, dignitaries, and students of New Mexico where she lives.
