Steven Sawyer, MSSW, LICSW
Steven Sawyer is a clinical social worker and President of Sawyer Solutions, LLC a private clinical and consulting practice. He manages an outpatient treatment program for adults who have committed sexual crimes and serves as a consultant to catholic religious orders on matters of sexual abuse prevention and management. Sawyer is the co-author of Group Therapy with Sexual Abusers and has published articles and chapters on treatment for men who use prostitutes, sex dysfunction in sex offenders, and sex offender treatment outcome research. He has provided clinical services to individuals, families, and groups for more than 30 years and has treated or supervised the treatment of several thousand men in group therapy. He has assessed hundreds of men who have committed sexual crimes. Mr. Sawyer was a founding board member and Executive Director of Project Pathfinder, Inc., a non-profit agency that specializes in the treatment of children, teens and adults with sexual behavior problems.
