Tyson Manker

Tyson Manker is a licensed attorney and veterans advocate, also with Veterans Education Success. Prior to his work for veterans and military families, Tyson is a combat veteran who served in the Marine Corps infantry as an 81mm mortarman with the 3rd Battalion 7th Marines based in 29 Palms, California, and his unit helped lead the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Since then, Tyson has remained an outspoken advocate on a number of issues that are important to veterans and service-members, including Veterans Treatment Courts for veterans trapped in the criminal justice system, for improvements to the discharge and discharge upgrade process, and for increased awareness and funding for Veterans with PTSD and TBI. Now at VES, Tyson works to elevate the voices of veterans by meeting with Members of Congress to improve the lives of military men and women when as they transition into civilian careers.
