Alvaro Hernandez
Alvaro Hernandez has worked for the Franchise Tax Board (FTB) over 25 years. Alvaro is the Small Business Liaison in the Taxpayers’ Rights Advocate’s Office and manages the Education and Outreach Section. He coordinates the development and outreach of information for the small business community to assist them with their income tax responsibilities as well as sharing FTB programs and services available to them. He also serves as the department’s spokesperson for the Spanish media.
Alvaro has worked in a variety of different divisions within FTB, including Audit, Collections, and Administration Services. Alvaro is a graduate from the California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government.
