After spending ten years as a software engineer for the DoD, Jerry James Stone became an effective social media specialist and marketing manager, working at SXSW and Discovery Channel including such properties as Animal Planet, MythBusters, TreeHugger and Shark Week.
In May 2012, Jerry James Stone became Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the vegetarian and vegan food blog, JERRYJAMESSTONE.COM, that focuses on planet-friendly eating and sustainability. In addition to partnering with Whole Foods and Facebook, he has also been featured online at People, TODAY, the Huffington Post, and regularly in BuzzFeed. He has grown a social media following of over 600,000 fans, recently partnering with Twitter to launch their very first curated Periscope channel on cooking.
Along with recipe development and food photography, he regularly creates video content for YouTube and livestreams for audiences on Twitter and Facebook. He also does cooking demos on local TV shows such as Good Day Sacramento.
