Jayla Youngblood
Jayla Youngblood is a 2018 high school graduate of Pittsburgh Oliver Citywide Academy in Pittsburgh, PA. Despite personal and academic challenges, Jayla has demonstrated strong spoken communication skills and attended to her work and responsibilities in a thoughtful way. Additionally, Jayla is a graduate of the Bender Leadership Academy. The program welcomes high school juniors and seniors with disabilities from four high schools to attend four classes, held quarterly throughout the school year and hosted by a sponsor company, to have Joyce Bender deliver training to prepare students with disabilities for the world of work. which
Jayla has been a dedicated volunteer throughout high school at RE: Purpose, and the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank.
Jayla has been accepted into Community College of Allegheny County's Nurse's Aide Certification Program
