Dr. Ed's 30 year professional career focused on the expansion of global supply chains in the hardware, office furniture & technology sectors. He spent 20 years developing global transportation networks & owned & operated a 1.2 million sq. ft. third party logistic (3PL) business & multi-modal logistics park home to the largest foreign trade zone in Michigan. Dr. Knab provided consulting services including network design, supply chain rationalization, facility design & warehouse management system operating specification. Recent projects include analyzing & refining retail supply chain & WMS requirements for the US Marine Corps., & coordination of warehouse & supply chain requirements for the pacific headquarters of the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration. Dr. Knab is also is a full time professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Dr. Knab is currently creating a Third Party Logistics (3PL) Center of Excellence at East Los Angeles College (ELAC).
