Dan Reeves
Dan was born and raised in New Albany. He began using various substances around age 14. Like for many, it was plenty fun, until it wasn’t, and in my late 30’s he started hitting a series of slow moving bottoms, that always seemed to have a trap door. He bounced around the halls and walls of recovery rooms for several years, hoping to escape using only half measures. Things continued to get worse until he was standing in front of a judge while he explained to him that the crime he had committed carried sentencing guideline of 6 to 20 years in the Indiana Department of Corrections. He never spent a day behind bars, thanks to Twelve Step Recovery. He is also an Engineer who worked at the same employer for almost 28 years. He spends his free time primarily participating in recovery, practicing yoga, creating wood art in his backyard woodshop, and spending as much time as possible outdoors.
