Steve Suroveic
Effective January 2018, Steve Suroveic became CEO of ACHIEVA. He succeeded Marsha Blanco, who retired after 38 years with the organization in 2017.
Achieva, founded in 1951, serves people with disabilities and their families.
Suroviec, who was unanimously selected by Achieva’s trustees, was COO and director of Intellectual/Development Disability Services at the Rehabilitation and Community Providers Association.
“I am honored to have been chosen as Achieva’s next CEO,” he said in a prepared statement. “Achieva is a leader in the disability field, and I will work tirelessly with the Achieva trustees and staff to continue to protect the rights of people with disabilities, support their families, and provide the highest-quality supports to the individuals we serve.”
