Adam Bisaga

Dr. Adam Bisaga is a Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University and a Research Scientist at New York State Psychiatric Institute. His NIH-funded research is focused on development of new medications to treat opioid and other substance use disorders. He co-directs PCSS, the SAMHSA-funded national training and mentoring project to implement treatments for opioid use disorders. He is a member of UN Expert Panel and the UN Office of Drugs and Crime International Scientific Network. He conducts trainings and addiction treatment program developments internationally and he co-edited “UN/WHO International Standards for the Treatment of Drug Use Disorders.”
