Vanessa Shakib
Vanessa Shakib is General Counsel at Advancing Law for Animals, a nonprofit legal advocacy organization for our non-human friends. There, she draws on her experience in complex civil litigation and grassroots advocacy to develop impact litigation and legislation for animals. Prior to joining ALA, Vanessa specialized in plaintiff-side class-action litigation, with an emphasis on consumer protection.
