Claiborne Haughton
Dr. Haughton is the most highly decorated equity, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) official in the history of the Department of Defense. He has received over 22 significant honors and awards (see list below). On Jan. 14, 2004, the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI), Patrick, Air Force Base, Florida, dedicated its new state of the art library in his honor. He began his Federal government career in 1967 with the Defense Logistics Agency as a GS-5 Quality Assurance Trainee in Indianapolis, Ind. Today, Dr. Haughton is the President of his own Motivational Speaker/ED&I Consulting Co. His over 500 keynote speeches have earned high praise nationally and internationally on a variety of ED&I and leadership topics.
