Elizabeth Ayers Cluff

At the age of 37, Elizabeth Cluff was diagnosed with stage 3B breast cancer. With a husband and 3 small children at home, it seemed like every step of her treatment was filled with complications. After her years of treatment and surgeries came to an end, she looked back on what was missing and most needed during that time. She realized, and research backed it up, that while there was all kinds of information about breast cancer awareness, prevention and research, there was very little support to help women in the trenches, to help women feel whole again. She began reaching out to retailers and companies to donate much needed items. Within a year, she had formed I’mpact One, set up a website, collected $90,000 worth of product. After nine years of standing behind and supporting other women in their fight, she now finds herself back on the front line. Just last May, tests revealed her cancer is back, this time with a vengeance. But that will not stop her from serving “Just One.”
