Annie Mattingley

The After Death Chronicles is Annie Mattingley's first book, unless, she says, you count the ones she burned, buried, or never wrote beyond fifty pages. The large questions of existence, especially those that lie on the cusp between life and death, have been central to her life, leading her to earn her MA in Interdisciplinary Consciousness Studies. She has co-published an engineering magazine, taught writing in universities, worked for a film festival, volunteered with hospice, and long been guided by her dreams. As both the recipient of after-death communications from her daughter and as a researcher who interviewed scores of others who'd had such visitations, she found that after-death contact puts grief into a new perspective. It eases worries about our deceased beloveds and can transform fears about our own deaths by assuring us that consciousness continues beyond the grave. Mattingley shares simple and elaborate stories of dreams, visions, auditory contacts and more.
