Elona Karafin
Elona Karafin is a 25 year old travel writer with a passion for philanthropy, culture, and exploration. As a recent college graduate, Elona held a full-time job as a financial analyst in NYC while also traveling the world on long weekends. She only had limited vacation time but she didn’t let that stop her from traveling to her dream destinations. She spent her weekends in places like Paris, Hong Kong, Lisbon, and Geneva and then shared her experiences and travel tips in her blog, Elona The Explorer. Elona is now a full time content creator, working to promote various destinations and brands in the travel space through visuals and written pieces. Elona was 10 years old when she was diagnosed with bone cancer and spent two years in treatments. She dedicates a large portion of her life to help underprivileged children who are battling chronic illnesses. Elona recently launched a project where she takes fellow cancer survivors on dream come true trips around the world with her.
